The entertainment this week is Heavy Souls
The Heavy Souls are a hip trio of musicians comprised
of Nick Piche on lead guitar and lead vocals, Sean Stephenson on bass guitar,
and the aged veteran Keith Smith on drums. The Heavy Souls started with
Nick’s idea to create a cover band playing songs of the contemporary band The
Black Keys. They have since added many other cover tunes from a multitude
of artists and also weave a few of their own original songs into each
set. If you were to put a label on the genre of music they play, “rockin’
blues” would be fairly descriptive. The band has played at many venues in
Brandon and the surrounding Westman
