Music From Records to CDs???

Hello everyone. My mom has a bunch of records that she wants to have the music on them turned into CDs. Does anyone out there know of any business or anyone who can do this and approximately how much it would cost.

Thanks everyone!!

...

If you have the time or inclination to do it yourself, you can get a converter turntable at pretty much any electronics store. I know that The Source has them for about $80. It's a usb record player that converts your lp's into mp3 format so you can then put them on a disc or mp3, etc.

Okay...

My first question would be why?

The quality would not be great and I personally find it much better to just purchase the songs I like. I also find it easier and a lot cheaper to find cds however most music I purchase now is digital.

I figure if I am going to take the time to listen, I want the best professional quality and that is done for me with no time of my own other than downloading.

I know that did not answer your question but before you take on the time and money to do this, take a real good look at the songs and see how many your Mom would actually want to really listen to.

You can also pick up a lot of the cds at pawnshops, second-hand stores, etc and very cheap and in excellent condition to boot.

Records

I have a bunch of records as well.
But I found that Itunes has a wide selection
of old music that you can 1 song or an album.
