A couple of years ago we moved in our house. For awhile our neighbor was complaining about our spruce trees that were in our yard, how they were growing into his trees and they were dead and no point of being there. So we ended up taking them down last spring, we were planning to anyway. We ask him last year if he would be willing to trim his tree branches that were dead and some of them are hanging right over our house just waiting to crash onto our roof. He said "go ahead trim them all you want im not going to do it." Hmmm well we arent going to trim his trees, why should we. We have asked him time over time to trim them and he won't. So here is what im asking...what can i do to get him to trim his trees before they damage my house? Do i hire somebody to trim them and send our neighbor the bill?? Do i go to the city about this??? Any advice would be great!
