Negan's Victim

The only debate I am interested in right now is what the fans are thinking regarding Negan's victim.

*The Walking Dead. Season 7. Oct. 16.

It's either Rick or Glen given the trailors and the books.

Season 7 premiere is October 23....not the 16th- that's a 2hr recap special.

As for who the victim(s) may be- I don't think they will be following the comic book story line...

I think

It's Glenn.

The first time we were lead to believe he was dead at the dumpster was just a warm up for this.

Ideas

There's a great page on Reddit about this.

There's also a lot of speculation it could actually be 2 people.

Let's just say if it's not Glenn then I'll be a little pissed and the show will loose some of its credibility in my books. If you read the comics and no how much better the story gets. Then Glenn is the only option.

Maggie

I'm thinking it's Maggie. They could follow the comics but I doubt it. Maggie seems to be the one that if she goes will cause the biggest disruption within the group and would skew the rest of the story between the books and show from here on out.

Maggie and Morgan are not even there. They are with the "people on horse back".
Re watch last season

Oh ya sorry.

Got the names mixed up.

Still it won't be Maggie she is a catalyst for what happens in the future. And is a huge character. They won't kill a pregnant lady with a baseball bat.

I beg to differ

The comic has killed off pregnant main characters before, no reason for the show not to follow suit. Also if Glen doesn't bite it I don't see a reason why he couldn't step into the shoes that Maggie does in the books either. It will be fun to see how this pans out. All I do know is that fans watching will likely be upset by whichever character will meet their untimely demise.

It will be Abraham because he was starting to see a future for himself at the end of the last season. Besides, he already dodged his bullet (if you've read the books)

I

I second Maggie.
Did anyone watch their Comic Con Panel? Lauren Cohan seemed a bit sad to me.
And I think Abraham also.

I think it's fairly common knowledge that in the comics it is Glenn who meets Lucille.

It definitely isn't Rock or Carl, Negan said so himself just before he got swinging, but it will be a main character.

For the longest time I thought they'd stay true to the comics and it'd be Glenn. But lately I have this feeling that it is Maggie. Lauren Cohan is pretty much the only actor who hasn't been spotted on set this summer, and apparently her IG account is full of travel pics from nowhere near Atlanta, so that to me is fairly strong evidence Maggie isn't around anymore.

Maggie

I think its going to be Maggie as well. Ive thought so since the season finale because shes pregnant. I also read a pretty good spoiler kind of confirming that, but you never know, it could be a trick to throw people off! Also, Apparently someone let it slip in an interview thay "they" die, so maybe they is maggie and her baby, or maggie and glen-though that would too much I think!

maybe

I have a friend who thinks it's possibly going to be one of Negan's own guys that he kills. Although that would kind of be the safe way of doing things after all the suspense of the season finale.

Definitely not Rick

Id say Abraham or Glenn, or both. Abraham would make the most sense for Negan to take out the strongest member of their group, and Denise took his place with the arrow to the head so according to the comics he should be dead, or if they really follow the comics it will be Glenn. The only two for sure that are safe are Rick and Carl because before Negan took the swing he said if anyone screams cut out the kids other eye and feed it to his father, so we know they weren't on the receiving end of Lucille.

Daryl, Abraham or Glen...

Daryl is a strong possibility only on the fact that the actor playing him (Norman Reedus) is branching out with his own motorcycle show. So, is his agent just setting him up for an "afterlife" when he finally meets his demise with TWD? One can suspect something like that. But both Abe and Glen are on "borrowed time", according to the comics timeline. Watching the final seconds makes me think it's Abe because I believe Maggie would scream no matter what Negan said about Carls eye. And I don't think Glen would be able to remain sitting up after the first strike of Lucille (But I believe Abe could). Besides that, Abe found his purpose in the zombie apocalypse. Which is never a good thing on TWD, because usually that's when the writers often pull the "sudden death trick" on the fans. (No character ever gets to be happy or even feeling slightly safe or content for more than two episodes on this show)

Yep, I think Abraham has met his fate with the classic "I'm feeling happy, so it's time to die" scenario. Plus, if I were Negan... I would take out Abe for the reasons that Abe appears both a physical threat and an possible insubordinate. Just look at that stare Abe gives to him during the final scene... That alone is worth killing the guy for. And the final fact is Glen would make an excellent soldier because Glen expressed great concern for Maggie in front of everyone there. (Showing his weakness before a new master was a huge mistake for him. Negan now owns Glen.)

Just my opinion, I could be wrong.

I hope it's Daryl. Used to be a big fan of his character but his story-line seems done. Seemed like a goodbye as well on Talking Dead.

Rosita or Tara.

I think it''s one of those. I''m more curious to see what happens with Morgan and Carol. I wonder if those two guys on horse back are from a large colony or just on their own. Either way I will be waiting a long time till it shows up on Netflix.

Perhaps

You do as well.

If you are not a TWD fan then why are you taking time out of your own action Packed life to read this?

The premiere is Oct 23rd.

-The week after the recap. 23rd it is.

If I was Negan, I would take out the king pin or the bad @ss of the group. (The one who may try again to infiltrate their Happy Camp and turn it into Camp Slaughter).

6 more sleeps

I don't know what I am excited for more am so waiting on this and the presidential debate #3.
Both have a scary, yet humorous twist.

I would love to see the post-world in both scenarios.

Anyone watched the teaser last weekend?...

With only a few more sleeps left, I felt compelled to keep this thread going. Looking at it again before I deleted it from the PVR, I took notice on the details of that short segment and concluded the following:

Negan's victim has definitely on Rick's right. That would be Maggie, Abraham, Michonne, Daryl, Rosita and Glenn (nearest to furthest to Rick's right side). The reason is that in the sneak peek, the blood and brain spatter hit Rick's right side of his face. Thus, signaling that it was one of these six. The amount of spray from Lucille also indicates that it happened very near or right beside Rick. That's also confirmed when Rick gets dragged forward through the blood on the ground, towards the RV by Negan after Rick tells him he's going to kill him. So that narrows it down the Maggie, Abe or possibly Michonne. Rick's reaction and threat to kill Negan for what he had done has convinced me to change my mind about it being Abe and more likely to be Maggie. But, I can't because Glenn would be screaming and` sobbing during Rick's dramatic threat to Negan. So, unless Glenn was incapacitated, my mind says Maggie... but, my gut still feels it's Abraham.

By the way... Did anyone who had seen the preview segment, noticed how the way Negan was going on and on about "the right hand man" speech? Then asks for his right hand mans weapon (which was a hatchet), then tucks it into his belt before dragging Rick out of the line-up through Maggie's/Abe's blood towards the RV? ...There's about to be a second victim. Who it it?

....Du-da-daaaa!!!

....It's going to be Rick's RIGHT HAND!

Following the comics story, Rick did loose a hand earlier on. It may make sense for the character of Rick to loose the hand now after threatening Negan's life. So, I believe there's going to be two victims happening Sunday. Abraham (85% sure) and "Mr. Handy". ...Sorry for the spoiler.

That's my theory to the season seven opener... I can't discuss it any further, because I'm gone all weekend and can't watch the show until Monday.

Just my opinion, I could be wrong.
