Who is good at dying hair soft ginger/auburn?

HiI thinking to try ginger/auburn hair color a soft natural color, and ifffy about the box dyes and would be covering virgin silver grey hair, so figure try find a colorist who is good but not gonna charge up the wazzu lol I did run into a nice lady at Sobeys month ago who said who does her hair some girl outside of town who made that ladies hair a beautiful soft ginger, but dont remember the name. Is there one day hair colors to try it out and it washes out in a day or two? Not stuff like natural instincts but just for a day.?..I dont think the old school fanciful rinse will work on grey hair....otherwise have to find a colorist who wont fry my hair lol Dont see any good light auburn natural soft ginger wigs online just to try the color either lol As want to make sure will get the right shade as took me a long time to grow out natural hair lol

Me

I dye my hair this color using dye and developer from Sally Beauty. You can give it a shot if you like. The manager there is brilliant at explaining the process.

What shade is it you use? Do you have a link to the color/brand you get from Sally's?
Thanks

Vivid Beauty Boutique and Artristy both have facebook websites..the cost would depend on length of hair and how much time it would take to do what u want..give them both a call..I've had my hair done with both of them with auburn..very pleased..good luck

I use Ion Color Brilliance in the shade Medium Red Brown. It looks very natural. They will be able to tell you which developer to buy to cover your greys.

If you don't want to do it yourself you could of course go to a salon. But for me, I don't like spending money every month on my hair.

And that shade gives a soft natural auburn ginger? I want it to look as natural as possible and ya didnt know doing a color was so much $$$$ at a salon! I just thought get the head done once proffesionally and then just do roots every 6 weeks or whatever at home...I will definitely check out Sally's too when I get a chance (bussing...ugh lol) and its not storming lol

the color on the girl infront of the green fence....actually a couple of shades around that pic are good too...
Anyone had success with these shades?
Do you get ginger jokes or compliments ? I'm prepared for ginger jokes lol Do you use red shampoos or does the color stay good? Someone told me henna will make your hair red...dont know if I want to try that though...

Thank you for the color and brand, Ill look that up. I havent colored my hair since last Dec had it chopped to pixie to go greysilver and now its longer and thinking to try the ginger shade....always did home color but thought since my hair is all natural might be an idea to get a salonist to do it as its grown in thick in the back n sides too... I'm glad you found a shade that you are happy with and that it looks natural Nice n Easy changed their formula and the colors aparently come out bit different, so dont want to use that brand and mixed reviews on other store bought stuff, so good idea of Sally's if I cant find a affordable colorist to do my hair the once.
