The thought of the Memorial Cup has been posted a trillion times on here, but nobody mentions the WCMAs, meaning the Western Canadian Music Awards here in Brandon this fall. Are you looking forward to it?
I certainly am, I can't wait to see some live western Canadian musicians play all over town, I have no idea who will play. I hope artists like Awkward Stage will be here and play. Who do you hope will win an award/play in town? |

Definitely looking forward to this event and what its going to bring to Brandon. A lot of unknowns in the average person's mind as far as what bands will be playing during the festival portion, the schedule, etc. The closer it gets, the more you're going to see people interested in checking it out and being a part of it.

I signed up as a volunteer a long time ago. I want to help out any way I can. I've been disappointed with the Brandon music scene for years, but I believe that this is one of the few times where Brandon will shine. I'm sure the awards will be on TV (whether it's CBC or some other network), plus there might be concerts broadcasted on radio (ie maybe on Sirius or CBC). So many possibilities |
