Brock Lesnar

Looks as though the UFC HW champ will be out of action for awhile now!! Kinda crappy as he has a ton of potential!

He was in the hospital here in Brandon last week with some sort of abdominal pains but that is that last I have heard of it till last night!

Here's the clip from TMZ

He has been here before, remember the WWE? He isn't exactly a stranger in these parts.

Cysts

I read in one of these forums that he is struggling with cysts on his liver caused by "Rampant steroid use"

true or not, it sounds possible!

Either way I hope he heals up, I really enjoy seeing him fight

yep Kola

He is regularly around that area and has been for many years. I haven't seen him but I know many people in the oilfield who had . Guess he goes to Maryfield bar for a beer.

Kare 11 news at 5 says

Brock L has been transfered to a medical facility in Bismark. He is under going tests. He has a stomach condition that is not life threatening. He has not had H1N1. On the other hand the Pres of UCW says Brock needs major intestine surgery and will never fight again, and are taking his Heavy Weight Belt away from him. This will continue for a few more weeks, I hope it works out well.

Very sorry to hear.
While his health is the most important story here, it would be interesting to at some point find out more about the Westman connection to all of this.

Do you mean?

How he came to be at the Brandon hospital?
I know that Brock has his farm very close to the border and has family in this area. Like the poster above stated, his brother lives in Kola and I know he does come to Brandon.

I just keep missing him when he's in town I'm a big fan and would love to meet him one day. I hope he gets better soon.

I was thinking the exact same thing as you leroy.

I do hope that Brock has a speedy recovery. I did not know that he spent time around this area!

USA Today Update

USA Today is reporting he has a bacterial infection in his intestinal tract.

http://www.usatoday.com/sports/mma/2009-11-16-3190330654_x.htm

Dana White is really starting to get on my last nerve!

From USA Today: White said Monday that Lesnar wanted to thank his fans for support. But he said it's tough to tell how 6-foot-3, 265-pound Lesnar is feeling.

"He's never in good spirits and he's not in good spirits now," White said.

He's done

Give up the belt and let two other, hungry heavy weights fight for it. My opinion.

PS. There's an updated story on CTV Newsnet this morning, I'm too lazy to go back and find the link.

Oh boy, now his (American) chiropractor is blaming the Canadian medical system.... saying that our system made it difficult to manage his severe symptoms.

Chriopractor

O.K, now what I would like to know is how his chiropractor would have anything to do with Brocks intestinal "minor surgery", much less be able to comment on his healthcare received here.

That is such crap.

sounds like somebody who isn't for "socialist" ideas like universal healthcare is trying to get a dig in.
