Princess Auto.

I received a Princess Auto flier in today's paper and it got me thinking. A couple of years ago there was talk that Princess Auto was about to build a new store across 18TH street from their present location. Was this a false rumor, or are they planning to build?

I think it's still on..

I heard the same thing, but I thought it wasn't even supposed to start until this year?

I spend WAY too much time in that store and lately too much $!

Their tools are "get what you pay for" but if you only need it once or not for daily service their just great, and some of the other stuff seems to work out good, but you have to buy knowing your in a surplus store.

As for the new stores..the one in Regina is brand new...and it's still just as cramped as the Brandon store and I find harder to find stuff.....the one on Portage Ave in Winnipeg is about the best set-up...hopw we get one like that!

Potential

I am a princess aito fan. Yes quality is iffy on some product ok lots but as customers we all go into that with our eyes open. What that store needs IMO is a uptick on maintaining the shelves & stock/sweeping the floors plus keeping the movement of complete aisles etc to a minimum.

I do hope they build big and if its tight because the added selection so be it. Lets home the set up( merchandising) is not the equivalent of someone throwing the product at the shelves and what sticks has the home labeled.

Clean floors/maitained and full shelves. Yep that would be a plus to what they already offer!.
