How to get Whiskey smell out of carpet????

I read that

"mixing a small amount of white or apple cider vinegar with warm water" apparently works! : )

Try that Resolve carpet cleaner stuff. If not, get a carpet shampooer and use that.

i am not the whiskey drinking my friends are though. thanks for the suggestions. yeah i was reading that too and might give those a try... thanks again

What about the stuff they sell to get pet smells out of the carpet?  
If it can get the smell of cat pee out, I'm sure it can get the smell of whiskey out!

...so the vice versa of don't spill whiskey on your carpet would be don't spill carpet on your whiskey? lol don't mind me its late and my brain just giggled when it tried to figure this out lol

Could also try good old baking soda. dampen the spot with warm water, sprinkle on a good layer of Baking Soda, and let it dry, then vacuum it up! Great stain remover too!

i

used to have a dog that would keep licking at it until it was all soaked up!...but then i also had a wet spot from his saliva that i had to take care of! haha
