| | | Veggie burgers ?? | | |
Does anyone know where to buy veggie burgers in Brandon, our kids have always just ate chicken burgers, they are not big on eating bison or beef so I am thinking veggie burgers might be a change but I cant find them. Edited by letmesee, 2012-03-15 14:13:59 |

I'm sure the bigger stores all have them (I don't eat them myself), such as Superstore, Safeway, Sobeys, maybe even Wal-Mart. |

| | | garden burgers are good | | |
especially when they are grilled. they are made from brown rice, cheese and other stuff. they usually have a 4 pack in town here, but you can buy bigger boxes at costco. |

has a brand I like (i think it is something Yves or similar) it is in a 4 pack and they look a lot like red burgers and with condiments taste a lot like them too.
At Hedley's they have a Quinoa burger mix that is very tasty too! and it is very healthy..
I think most grocery stores have some, they are usually in the veg or frozen areas. |

They are in most grocery stores - Sobey's, Safeway, etc. My favourites are Money's Gardenburgers (as mentioned above) and M & M Meats carries very decent frozen veggie burgers. I think Ive tried the Yves ones as well, but can't remember what those were like.
You can find some in the organic areas (Yves), but I mostly find them just in the frozen food cases at Safeway, and along the back east wall at Sobey's (with frozen apps and party foods, etc.) At least that's where the Money's brand used to be. I've been getting them at M & M the last while, as I enjoy them so much.

| | | Pardon my fuzzy memory... | | |
I haven't eaten red meat in almost 10 years and have tried several different kinds of veggie burgers.
My favorite is from Superstore, they are in the freezer section in a green box with "Family Pack" on the front of it, I think there are 8 or 10 burgers in the box.
I want to say the company name is Sunnyside Farms or something like that but they cook up great on the BBQ!
Again sorry for the vagueness but hope that helps! |

having a vetarian daughter for the last 6 yrs I have learned that the BEST selection in Brandon is at Safeway.
Their vegetarian section is in the produce area down at the coral centre.
Sobeys and superstore, coop dont come close with the selection. Hope this helps Edited by Rebeldawn, 2012-03-15 16:05:59 |

| | | Safeway | | |
Had a really good one that my kids enjoyed, I have no idea if they still have it (we tend not to use them through the winter), but I am heading there this evening and I have a hankering to BBQ so I will be checking.
There is another brand at Safeway that is pretty good too that I cannot recall the name of, they make awesome meatless meat balls. Right across from the seafood counter at the Corral Centre |
