Did anyone else receive a disgusting anti-abortion flyer in their mailbox in the last day or two?  
It is absolutely DISGUSTING!  
My children get mail out of the mailbox for me and there is NO reason whatsoever that they should see this garbage. The pictures are extremely graphic, and compared to a warning on a cigarette package. Seriously cigarette packages are now kept locked up, and kids don't have to see them. But in our private mailbox they can.  
The person who put this garbage in my mailbox is extremely lucky I didn't see who they were. They would have received an earful. Keep your garbage to your self. Luckily I managed to get to the mailbox first, as it was half hanging out of the mailbox for anyone to see. It was disposed of quickly.  
 
So parents you may want to check your mailboxes, before your kids find it.

Got this could someone post a picture? I live out of town so I don't get this kind of stuff.

cuz i saw a truck advertsement at walmart the other day

on the corner at the hospital yesterday protesting, holding big signs with those pictures. And there was a big box truck with huge pictures on it circling the hospital most of the day. They must also be anti-children to display those pictures in public for kids to see.  
 
Absolutely disgusting and I do not respect their views or their methods.

I saw the truck and was immediately hurt and disgusted if they want us to respect the dead then they shouldn't use it for the propaganda.

I arrived to work this morning to find them GLUED to the lightposts outside The Women's Resource Centre and I am told this was done along many major streets in Brandon. I hated having to watch the YMCA Daycare kids walk by these images this morning. We are working to remove the posters in our area and the police have been contacted. Removal should take place across the city today.

If those pictures make them anti-children then poverty groups posting pictures of impoverished children must be anti-children or animal rights groups posting pictures of abused/killed animals must be anti-animals. These are actual images, perhaps you need to examine your views if you are bothered by this. Whether we agree with this methodology or not in reality what is the truth within these pictures.

I had no idea this was going on all over the city.  
Kudos to you guys for removing these posters....HOW SICK!!

Everyone has their right to their opinion, just dont go vandalizing our city with it.

I have not seen the ads myself so I can only comment based on the descriptions here. However, although I certainly do not agree with the methods this group used to get their message across, I do not see how their message is anti-children. It seems to be pro-children. The ones who are anti-children are those that are killing the babies in the photos.

they're definitely not anti children. They're just stupid.

As someone who has had to have a pregnancy removed due to very bad health risks to me, those disgusting pictures (I seen the truck while I was driving) not only threw me into a panic attack while I was driving, but also has left me feeling a little less than happy since I've seen it. After struggling for over 2 years over this issue, to see that was beyond brutal soo not helpful. I get their point to push anti abortion, but come on! That's so the very wrong way to do it bc clearly it affects more than people who willingly have them.

I believe in education of my children. This is an opportunity for dialogue. My daughters had questions. "What is the picture"...answer "that is a fetus". "Why is it like that"...answer "some people choose to have the fetus removed by a doctor when it is in their womb because they don't want to have it" question " but it looks like a baby mom, how could someone do that to a baby"  
I realize a lot of people don't want to educate children on what their opinion is until they are at an age where they can just reason it as a "procedure" but really my kids are not so stupid and they see and hear much worse on the playgound or on the Internet.

I got one in the,mail. I was like .. Really? Who wants to see a bloody fetus. It went too far! What if someone did had one and saw that flyer? Doesn't make it any better ...

My children are not stupid either, and can read. That is not the point.  
Until I can give them the true and proper information regarding the photo, then they should not see it.  
Until they know why that fetus was aborted, if it was a choice or if it was forced for health reasons, the horrific circumstances that can surround that certain fetus. They should not see it.  
As per the last poster prior to this, she had to for health reasons, she does not need to see this. When you have a FULL story to explain this, then go right ahead.  
Last I checked abortion is a choice, and is not illegal.  
To compare it to animal abuse...well that is illegal. To compare it to impoverished children, that is something that can be helped with, we can help feed that child. Sometimes terminated pregnancies cannot be helped.  
Everyone is entitled to their beliefs, but abortion is not illegal and anti-abortion beliefs should not be crammed down my throat, especially at my own home.  
What I teach my children, or what they see should be at my discretion.  
They should not HAVE to see this imagery everywhere we go. If in an adult setting they want to protest, have at it, but NOT where children are around.  
 

A fetus is still a fetus irregardless of why someone got rid of it. The picture is still of that irregardless of why the person did not carry it to term.

Actually in 5th grade they don't see this. Nor right through high school do they have these photos thrown at them. They know about it, and also know its not illegal.  
These particular photos and how they are compared are disgusting.  
Everyone has their beliefs, but how this being brought about is wrong, in my opinion.

This group also compares abortion to the holocaust. Shows how screwed in the head they really are. If you want to spread your message, come give your talk, don't break city laws and glue your posters all over the city, especially when they are that graphic.

The truck has been seen at the highschools as well.

It is not murder, it is legal and it is one's own choice.  
 
Perhaps these people should get a real job!

I'm getting a little more then annoyed with people shoving anti abortion flyers, messages, etc in my face.

I wasn't referring to said above poster as I didnot read all comments. And didn't even know someone in the discussion had an abortion.  
 
 
And yes I do feel abortion is murder in its own way, but with that said... I'm not against it. Sometimes there is a legit reason to have an abortion. But a lot of the time there isn't. And I totally understand its personal choice and I would never judge someone on the fact tht they had an abortion.

People have abortions for no reason? I would love for you to introduce me to someone who just thought, I'm going to have an abortion for no reason.  
If feeling like you're not going to be a good parent isn't a good enough reason to have an abortion I don't know what is.  
I give credit to anyone who can recognize they aren't in a good place to raise a child and has the courage to do something about it.

I saw the truck. Wow, talk about making a statement! I am, however, pro choice. The protestors have taken it a little bit far, I think. Picket all you want and make women feel guilty for their legal choice on what they want to do with their bodies. But don't be so obnoxious as to drive around in a truck with huge signs. What are you really gaining? I think they are starting to lose their marbles lol
