Hi!
I am needing to get a will done up. Does anyone have recommendations of what lawyer/ firm to go to? Someone good at their job and nice? Also anyone know the approximate cost?

Depending on the complexity, the cost could run from $150 for a basic to $400 for a couple. Ours included the additional legal papers all couples should have like Power of Attorney etc. It may be cheaper if yours is very simple in that it does not include land, houses, vehicles or major money.
It is better to pay the $150 today than to try to do the cheaper version and end up with your family paying lots for a lawyer later. This is especially important if there is a blended family or someone you want to specifically include or exclude. Get it in writing and notarized properly.
I do not have a recommendation though. I would call around and ask for the prices and the availability of getting an appointment. |
