the three triangular shaped objects flying over 20th and park ave at 1:05 am. They were in formation and had what looked like an electric band around them. They also had a faint red dot in the middle of each of them. I know it sounds crazy but we saw what we saw. We were just out for the meteor shower and we saw a ufo, cool.

on the night of the fair's end. It was about 1AM as well and the description is very similar although we only saw one up close, the others were further away. I even captured a short film of them on my cell phone(very blurry and dark) but we definitely saw them as well, several weeks ago.

The little red light in the middle makes me think maybe they were ultralights? They fly over us all the time, but never in the dark.

Many people see lights and misjudge speed and size. It won't be aliens, it's just wishful thinking.

You DO realize that since no one knows what this flying thing was in the sky, it is considered an Unidentified Flying Object.  
 
Just because it gets shortened to UFO does NOT mean that they think it's aliens. And it's not the heat boiling peoples brains either.

If they where looking for signs of intelligent life, I hope they fifn't land in a parking lot. Seeing how most people park, they would of definetly concluded there is NO intelligent life down here.

I believe there are people on other worlds, but the distances between us are daunting.  
Second, they would either reveal themselves or stay hidden. Playing cat and mouse with fighter planes for 75 years is laughable.  
Finally, littel green or grey men? Why? Parallel evolution is so improbable it is next to impossible. They won't look anythinglike us, and won't think like us either; their evolutionary needs will see to that.  
Many christians don't believe in aliens,(my experience anyway) but the bible doesn't say anything against it. God allegedly made us in his image, but he has no body so I take it to mean mental image. We laugh, cry, love, and hate. Aliens can do the same.

Actually, some people on ebrandon don't know what this flying thing was in the sky. I don't think you can honestly make the claim that no one knows.  
 
Before I get called a skeptic as if it's some dirty word, let me just say that everyone is a skeptic when it comes to some issue. Humanity has to be, else we wouldn't have survived thus long as a species.

First, I never said I thought we were the only form of life in the universe, so relax.  
 
I just find it funny how the OP is refuting possible explanations without a second thought. If he didn't know what he was seeing, how can he say it was not an ultralight?  
 
The chances of it being an actual spacecraft from another world are practically 0, the chances of it being from our world, almost infinite. I'm not saying it was or wasn't a spacecraft, but let's be serious, the odds are against the OP.  
 
If even half of the "sightings" I've read on eBrandon this summer were legit, I wouldn't need to read about it on the local forums, it'd be all over the global news.
