St. Lucia

We went to Sandals La Toc in St. Lucia. Loved it!

Also went to Couples Swept Away in Jamaica. Tough to pick the better of the two. Both were incredible adult only resorts.

If you dont mind me asking how much was it for two people to go for one week all inclusive when you went and how far in advance did you book? Did you use a travel agent? Thank you for your help!

Trip advisor

Double check trip advisor for resort reviews! My parents were looking for an adult only getaway and found a cheap resort, only to read online it was a swingers resort! Hahaha! Not quite what they were looking for :p

really? To answer your questions.....

These were on the higher end of the cost scale but once you experience them, you will know why.

I think it was around $3,000 - $3,600 per couple. If you book farther in advance, you get better rates. The type of room you pick on the resort makes a huge difference to the price as well. You don't have to pick the fanciest rooms to have a good time anyway. We found that some of the lower end rooms were just as nice. These are cozy resorts and you are not far from anything no matter what room type you pick. At Swept Away, we were three huts back from the beach.......less than a two minute walk to the beach. Had a beautiful balcony - they brought us breakfast there every morning. I think this room was second from the cheapest. When we looked around, we thought there was no need to spend the money on the most expensive room.

We used a travel agent to book both. It did not cost anymore and they give good advice on the best times to travel to the area, they know the layout of the resorts, and they can suggest off site activities as well. Ya, if you are just booking a flight, you don't really need an agent but this is a lot of money. You want to get good advice. We picked both resorts ourselves on-line and then went to Marlin Travel to take care of the details and get the best deal for us.

Good Luck! You would love either but be warned......you will be spoiled for anything less! : )

really? Just to confirm

the two resorts I suggested are not swinger resorts.....haha......I remember driving by one of those in Jamaica though. I think it was a Hedonism resort. Our bus from the airport dropped a young girl off at it and the bus back to the airport also picked her up at the end of the week. So we saw her before and afer........OMG.........she looked like you know what after the week there......hahahaha

Ivarness Falls

just google it as it is in Manitoba in the Whiteshell.I am thinking of booking for our anniversary next year. They have an area that is for couples only and they have an area for families. There is walking paths and pedal boats for use and it sounds amazing. There is like honeymoon packages and stuff. This would be ideal if you wanted to stay in manitoba.Rates very depending on what you want and how long you were staying.Whatever you choose enjoy your time together.

Jamaica For Sure

Sandals Negril or Couples Swept-away in Negril would be great but we're talkin $$. If you're thinking about the high season, Xmas, January to April, you're talkin $$$$. Try checking out the resort rentals in the classified adds on ebrandon. There are several vacation properties and maybe a couple of adds for Jamaica. Westjet and A/C have direct flights to Jamaica starting in November and if you check every day, they put up some fantastic seat sales.

Negril, Jamaica

Sunset at the Palms Resort in Negril, Jamaica...we've been two years in a row and will most likely be going back again this year.
We go a week or two before Xmas, because its so much cheaper than if you go after. We pay approx. $3000 for the two of us to go for 7 days (all inclusive). Our first year we booked with Westjet Vacations and this past trip, was with Sunwing, just online, no travel agent. I would be happy to share info on everything of you're interested. Just PM me!

I'm selling a vacation package!

I am trying to sell a vacation package, my boyfriend and I won it at a social and cannot use it.
It is for a couple. But the package is very flexible and can be modified to add days or people.

We went to the Sandal's Grande St Lucia and it was excellent. We have been to 4 Sandal's which are adults only. They are not, however, the type of adults only as Hedonism. We went to the La Toc also but the beach there is really lacking.

Most Fun You'll EVER Have!!

While the rally isn't an adults only event per se, Sturgis is really meant to be enjoyed by adults. It has to be seen and experienced to be believed. One doesn't have to own a Harley (or even a motorcycle) to enjoy all the event has to offer. There are lots of affordable concerts to take in, the scenery of the Black Hills, and the sight of more gleaming V-twins than you'll ever see assembled in one place. Enjoy the many biker bars, then travel the sensible way via shuttle bus back to your camp site or hotel room.
