New to Brandon, Looking for prenatal doctor.

Hi there everyone, I am currently new to Brandon and looking for a good prenatal doctor, preferably female. If you all could give some recommendations that would be great. Thanks in advance.

Dr Saba at the Brandon Clinic.
Some don't like her, but I really liked her. She was straight to the point.

Dr. Saba

is fantastic! She delivered both of my babies (one ended up being very high-risk and she saved mine and my baby's life).

She's blunt though - very straightforward and to the point. I never felt like I was inconveniencing her though.

Contact

Contact the Brandon Clinic or go down & talk to the girls there. They will let you know who is available and taking new patients. I know there is a website somewhere that you can type in the Dr. name & comments come up. Anybody remember what it is ? ?

I

agree with Happy Trails. Dr Helms was my doctor for both my babies and I could not have been any happier with him. Great doctor.

hm

Unless you are a high-risk pregnancy, you can continue to see your NP or GP until around 30 weeks, when your care will be transferred to an OBGyn of your choice.

Dr Helms

Delivered my baby by emergency c-section and he did a fabulous job! My recovery was super quick and the incision was done so well that the scarring is very minimal. Also, the way he interacts with his patients really makes you feel that he genuinely cares about you. I had Dr.Saba for most of my prenatal care up until the last month (she decided to go on vacation right before I was due) and so Dr.Helms took me on as his patient. I was nervous at first because I had never been examined by a man doctor but strangely he made me feel more comfortable about the whole process than dr.Saba did! I highly recommend Dr.Helms! I hope to have him for my next baby!
