| | | Has anyone tried the YMCA babysitters while at the gym? | | |
Was just curious how it is? If anyone has tried it? How the girls are that work in the play room? My son is 9 months old. I'm a little paranoid to leave him, but really need to get back into shape! |

Yes, it is difficult to leave your child with ANYONE.
Everyone has been vetted and trained, often better than many parents have been. Still, it is heart wrenching to hear them cry for their Mommy.
I volunteered at a play centre a few times and got to know them and how they did things while my child got to know the centre. This may be an alternative approach for you. Contact the YMCA and ask if you can help in the play room for a couple of hours next week to see if you like it. Let your son play without your direct supervision. If you find that he can become distracted or looks forward to playing in the centre, it will be easier to slip out and do a quick workout.
Keep your child's schedule in mind when planning to take him to the centre. Go when HE is at his best even if you may not have the best workout. If he is happier at 10:00 AM then you will be happier leaving him in the playroom even if you do not have a perfect workout. |
