Rural Rentals

So with the rental situation being what it is in Brandon. Who you rent a 2 bedroom apartment that is pet friendly and has laundry in Spucewoods (Shilo) or in Kemney? If so, what would you be willing to pay to rent this place?

.

i would take that in a heartbeat. i pay 700 for a little tiny one bedroom basement suite with only a small little area in the yard for the dog, not a fenced area either, just where his rope will let him be.
but its the only place i could find at the time and i cant complain about the price too much when i see what others are paying

Why rent when you can buy

one that would have payments of less than $500 per month in Sprucewoods.

sometimes renting is the only option for people. To buy you need a down payment, insurance, appliances, you have taxes, lawnmower...and the list goes on.

even renting

You should have insurance. The landlords insurance does not cover your contents...... Just saying

problem

with renting out side the city is the gas bill and car repairs kills anything you save. Then you also run in the problem of well water and pressure systems in so areas.

Thanks for the input

I realize that home ownership is better than renting, but like a previous poster said, a lot of time people dont have an option to buy. Also I wasn't asking about renters insurance. Simply asking, if there was apartments 15 minutes out of Brandon that was pet friendly, would you rent it? And if so how much would you pay?

Didnt mean to sound dickish

I jus read what I wrote, it sounded dickish, didn't mean for it to come out that way. Also I know that Kemney has municiple water now, and the pressure is good.

Home work

Maybe do some home work here on ebrandon. Compare what's listed to your place and price yours accordingly. Yours will be more enticing for some people since you allow pets, not to many places allow pets anymore.

Sorry I couldn't help with pricing. Good luck!

I am very comfortable with the pricing if this was in Brandon, it would be $900 plus hydro. My big question is, would people still rent if it was in Kemney? And how much of a discount would people be looking for because its 10 min from Brandon? I dont own anything in Kemney right now, I would be putting something up if I feel that there is a need.

if you market it right people would pay a premium for pet friendly quite neighborhood ect. so you could try around the same or reduce the rent a little bit $800? and have your pick of tenants

I'm

Looking for affordable and pet friendly rentals! And frankly, coming from a small
Town would prefer a rural rental!

Out

in the real rural area 60minutes from brandon your looking at a min $1000 plus utilities. If you put a four or six plex in kemney you would have no trouble renting at a higher rate then the city.Water and sewer or your only issue out of the city.
