I've been watching the game and it looks like Troy hurt his leg. So, Pikula has be doing a fantastic job in his absence. His Kickoffs haven't been great but he's gone 3/3 with field goals. Wahoo! Go Bombers! They're up by 1 point with 8 minutes to go.

Troy westwood may have watched his career fly through the uprights last night. Did anyone see doug Berry's face after that 3rd feild goal...Welcome to the Pine Troy Westwood

...they get the cup, then T-Dubbs can get his ring, and ride off into the sunset. I'm a huge Westwood fan, but it looks like Pikula is the future. I would just HATE for Westwood to go out without a ring. So many great years of service and so many great hilites in his career (that dandy 55-yarder to win against Sask in Winnipeg...)

No, he hasn't been stinking out the joint. He wasn't stellar to start the year, but he went on a real good run there for awhile where he was something like 7/7. Troy is still a good kicker, the trouble is that he's a better punter than a place kicker. They've been recruiting in the wrong area...they should have been looking for a new PK all this time, not a new punter...

I will never understand the irrational loyalty that fans have for Troy Westwood. Lui Passaglia and Dave Ridgeway were GREAT kickers: Troy Westwood is just kinda like Herpes...he's never going to leave. Winnipeg fans like that & build him up to be this mythical ultra talented kicker, which simply put isn't true. Westwood proves he is all flash, but when your season is on the line he is dead weight.

Care to explain that first field goal attempt last night by Pikula! I cant be the only one liking Troy, the entire stadium was chanting his name after Pikula's great kicks!

Looks like Pikula is getting the starting job in the future. They'll need to get Westwood to punt (Pikula was horrible at punting) but he hit 2/3 of the field goals including the game winner with 7 seconds left. I'm pretty sure Westwood would have missed that one. He's missed some pretty easy 'chip' shots this year already.
