My husband and I would like to rent a cabin at Clear Lake for a few nights this summer. Does anyone have recommendations for a place to stay? It's only the two of us and we're quiet ppl. Or is it too late in the season and everyone will be booked up? Thanks for the help.

My wife and I have booked a cabin at the Mooswa resort over the Tamarack week. I have no idea what it's like. There is tons of places to rent cabins and lots of people that will rent you their personal cabins.

I hear the new mooswa chalets are ok..and cabins are a little older but still good. Stay away from Johnsons cabins! rest are fine

Why would you say stay away from Johnsons Cabins...picking one out of the lot? They have a variety of cabins available.

Val at the Mooswa should be able to help you. Also Donners, the little chalet and others may have room.  
 
Most rent by the week in summer months. That will be yur biggest problem. Please book earlier next year to gaurantee a great spot.

I wonder if the old gal passed away? Her son was running the place, although he is a chef. Or maybe she sold?

Hi there...my hubby and I are fairly new to Brandon and are looking for either a nice place to camp(with the camper)or rent a cottage for a week or so..any suggestions,,,would of course like a beach area for swimming etc..

The confirmation is dated June 13th, which is after the post saying it was closed. Must be some rummors flying out there.

I would recommend The Duck Mountains north and west of Dauphin.

Blue Lakes is very beautiful. East Blue Lake and West Blue Lake are within walking distance. The water IS blue...nice beach area...trails...small store...cabins.

I much prefer swimming at Child's Lake, however regardless of how warm it is outside the lake is still freezing cold! Sometimes I swore I was floating around in an ice bucket!

...what are you saying friend....this is news to me. Never ever seen the itch posted or acquired.
