Interior design

I was wondering if anybody has experience with any interior designers in the area? I feel like it's out of my price range but can any one comment or message me to let me know what you paid and what you got out of it.

I just would like help picking out paint colours for my main floor, as I'm having trouble deciding on what will work good with each other and still match my cupboards and couch.

I used Shelley Taylor from Tailored Interiors. She was very reasonable and I love the colors she chose.

I second Tailored Interiors

Shelley is great and very reasonably priced. Spending a bit beforehand may save you painting twice. I know she's away right now until the end of next week, but worth a phone call. I'm pretty sure she is on Instagram.

Can someone share a price? Not sure what is considered reasonable for interior design.

Check out Timber and Lace Interior Design. She has packages on her website, she describes what each package entails and the cost.

I saw that but I simply want paint colors not furniture, drapes, accent recommendations, which is what their packages entail.

Tv shows and magazines

I have planned 3 new houses now and really get ideas from tv shows ( reno shows, etc.), magazines and going to show homes. The Winnipeg Parade of Homes are great. You can actually google show homes even to get some ideas and color schemes. All free!!

Friend of mine

Hi! It's late, but I actually have a friend who can probably help you. Well she doesn't have any Interior D. Degree., but she's really good at picking colours, designing inside the house. For sure you can afford her if just ever.

Urban Theory

When we redid our basement we had Urban Theory come out. She picked colours for the whole basement and picked colours for the exterior of our home as well. I paid approx $125 I think. It's been 2-3 years now. I love the colours and her advice on trim, flooring, counters, decor. I only wish I had her do the upstairs too as I think it's time to start painting upstairs next.
