Police Action on 1st St

Anyone know why there are a couple of Police SUVs parked with their lights on at 1st / Rosser and 1st/Lorne. Speed control??

Police on 1st Street

My guess would be a speed check since it is near a construction zone.

Police activity

If police were running radar, they wouldn't have their lights flashing while doing so. The police were likely looking for someone or attending a call.

Perhaps

But just sitting in their vehicles in the turning lanes with their becons on?? Seem to be creating a reason for rubberneckers and speculators like me to see whats going on downtown?

Sorry to hear that...

There was no sign of an accident at all. Just two police SUV's sitting in the turning lanes with thier becons on 3 blocks apart on 1st St? Nobody directing traffic and cars confusingly proceeding past then at 7:45 in the morning??
