NHL Central Scouting releases final list for 2014 Draft; three Wheat Kings among top 50 North American skaters

The National Hockey League Central Scouting Service released its final rankings for the 2014 NHL Draft and there are three members of the Brandon Wheat Kings who are among the top 50 North American skaters.

John Quenneville is ranked 23rd overall, Roblin's Jayce Hawryluk sits at 37th, while Richard Nejezchleb is ranked 50th.

There are two other Wheat Kings who made the list as netminder Jordan Papirny sits at 24th overall among North American goaltenders, while Richards Bukarts is 208th among skaters.

Meanwhile, former Yellowhead Chief Travis Sanheim of the Calgary Hitmen is ranked 53rd overall among skaters.

Kingston Frontenacs centre Samuel Bennett is the No. 1 player on the list, followed by Aaron Ekblad of the Barrie Colts at No. 2, Sam Reinhart of the Kootenay Ice at No. 3, Leon Draisaitl of the Prince Albert Raiders at No. 4, with Michael Dal Colle of the Oshawa Generals at No. 5 overall.
