It's been reported for several days now, however the news has become official regarding Brandon's Rob Fowler joining Jeff Stoughton's curling team next season.

Fowler, who was Stoughton's second for four years from 2006-2010, will re-join Stoughton as his third, beginning next curling season.

Fowler won the provincial men's curling title in 2012.

The newly formed team will also include Alex Forrest and Connor Njegovan as Stougton's second and lead respectively.

Meanwhile, in other curling news, John Morris will take over as the skip of the reigning Brier champions, which includes Brandon's Nolan Thiessen. The Team Canada foursome will make their debut in the 2015 Tim Horton's Brier in Calgary. The team will have a limited schedule however.

Morris replaces Kevin Koe, who left the team to form his own foursome.
