Brandon, MB (CKLQ) – The Brandon Wheat Kings made a minor trade Wednesday morning.
The hockey club sent 20-year-old goaltender Travis Child to the Edmonton Oil Kings.
In exchange, the Wheat Kings will get a 2018 fifth round draft pick.
The trade leaves the Wheaties with four over-age players on their roster, including Logan Thompson, Kade Jensen, James Shearer and Meyer Nell.
