Brandon, MB (CKLQ) – Over 100 football alumni and guests will celebrate the legacy of Brandon University football this weekend.
Football was last played at the school in 1973, but for homecoming, alumni will come in from all over to be part of the celebration.
The last major football celebration took place in the 1980’s when the all-time all-star team was recognized.
Many of those honoured football stars are confirmed to attend including Dave Bauman, Bert Gogal, Bruce Gullett, Peter Hagberg, Jim Haynes, George Kunyckyj, Lorne Lagimodiere, Murray ‘Bucko’ MacDonald, Joe Parks, Larry Rodenbush, Glennis Scott and Garry Smith.
