Brandon, MB (CKLQ) – The Western Hockey League schedule isn’t set to be released until Tuesday, but the a few teams were allowed to release when their home opener would be, and that includes the Brandon Wheat Kings.
The Wheat Kings announced that they will take on the Moose Jaw Warriors on Friday, September 21 at Westoba Place.
Brandon played Moose Jaw eight times last year and finished with a 3-5-0-0 record.
Most years, Brandon will play their home opener opponent that next night in their hometown but Moose Jaw did not release when their home opener would be.
