INGREDIENTS:
1 pkg frozen perogies
1 can pasta sauce (approx 680 ml)
1/3 cup water
2 Tablespoon sugar
1 - 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 cup grated cheese
1 - 1 1/2 cups broken taco chips
optional : add can of mushroom stems & pieces, diced green peppers.
topping option: sour cream
DIRECTIONS:
Dilute pasta sauce with water and add sugar. Spread a small portion of pasta sauce in 9 x 12 baking dish. Add frozen perogies. Spread remaining sauce over perogies. Add lightly fried hamburger. Cover pan with foil. Bake at 350 for 1 hr. Remove from oven and sprinkle on taco chips and grated cheese. Bake for another 10 minutes. If you like sour cream, a spoonful makes a great topping to add when serving. Enjoy!!!
Note: diced up cooked sausage can be substituted for hamburger.
*I have also tried boiling my perogies for about 5 min. Using this method, I decrease my cooking time in the oven to 40 min. Estimated preparation time: Under 15 minutes 5404 views
