eBrandon Member Wishes


Wish: an area to play airsoft

looking for a large indoor or outdoor area near brandon.or in brandon(for indoor)to use to play a few games of airsoft.outdoor would prefer an area with some trees or junkyard or haybails or something to provide cover etc..we are a large group of people from the brandon/shilo area and are dedicated to the sport and above all safety.myself and many members have been playing for 2-10+ years and absolutly love the spot.similar to paintbal but with bio degradeble plastic rounds.we would treat any area provided as our own.eg.no smokeing on premasis,clean up any garbage,no vandalism etc..its just difficult and expencive to drive to winnipeg everytime we want to play.thanks for your conssideration and or help.

May 2009		Even though I can't help with an area,my son purchased 2 airguns 6 month ago and can't really find a way to use them.I suggested the gravel pits near maple leaf but am not sure if that is legal/possible.He is 17 and lives with his mother in Brandon.I would really appreciate if you could get back to me when you find a way so I can forward this to him if he could join you.

Aug 2011		have you tried calling Ambush paintball? they might rent the field for a day or something for airsoft

Oct 2010		I will talk to my husband, we have an acreage in Rivers area, its just a pasture with a barn but I dont see why you cant use it. I will let you know.

Aug 2009		I believe there was a man along highway 10 who tried a paint gun shooting business. Maybe he would be interested in airsoft shooting. He is about 15 km outside Brandon on the right side.  
 
Not sure if you want to head fora hunting trip, might be worth it.

Oct 2010		on a side not Tyler, ambush is up for sale :( they put a for sale up about a week ago. So I am assuming ambush will be sold with the house. Hope thye keep it open though.

Jun 2012		might be able to help ive been building a field out by rivers.go on keystone airsoft group at face book.. there are some pics posted..only thing is i just found out the property we live on may be sold..i ll know for sure by friday the 15.
