For those that are questioning the sign in procedure, the images are sometimes taken from old documents that have been scanned in but are having difficulty being read by normal OCR software.
They put one normal image and one from a scanned document. They take the real answer to verify that you are a human and then add your guess about the other one to the collection to come to a conclusion as to what the old document says. You do not know which one is the real and which is from an old document so you try to be as accurate as possible on both of them.
A very effective way to get the older documents onto the internet for everyone to enjoy or use for research.

I was just reading on a posting that in the 25k section runner ups #3-7 carry over automatically to the next round. With #3 going to 1st place...4 to 2nd and so on.

Could someone please verify this rumour.
I like to vote because then I become the reason for the project to move from #16 to #6. When I see this movement up the standings, I am impressed with how our community got behind a wish and tried to make it happen. Win - Lose - Draw, I get a lump in my throat when I see the work the community has done with this project.

Remember, you can vote for every email address you have access to. I currently use five or six different accounts that my sweeties set up for iCoke points. It may not be kosher but if it gets the students a safe playground it is worth it.
What does it cost you? a couple of minutes of not playing silly computer games! Do it BEFORE you start reading the eBrandon posts and getting involved in a "discussion" until past your bedtime.

I love animals but they are taking over this program. Take a few moments to go to other entries in the $5,000, $10,000, and $100,000 categories and support school projects but leave a message that you are from the Riverheights Playground ($25,000 category) so maybe they will return the favour and vote for another school's project.

The drop down menu lets you select "Current Leaders" (rather than "Shuffled" or "Near to You" or "Ones You Support") and then click the $25,000 tab. Riverheights Playground comes up near the top of this list. I quickly vote for it and then go to the other categories to vote for other school based projects.
