What We're Looking For
The Demo Row Technician assists customers with trailer hookups and helps with the installation of minor service additions. This role is a great starting point for individuals interested in furthering their technical skills and building a career in the RV industry. While this is a seasonal position, there is an opportunity for advancement for the right candidate.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Complete hookups for new and repair RV units on the demo row
- Install RV trailer accessories
- Relight demo units
- Assemble hitches and perform hitch setups for trailers on the demo row
- Provide customer support, including assisting customers with trailer hookups
- Keep the demo row clean, organized, and presentable
- Install equalizers
- Check wiring and report any issues as needed
- Install small parts when required
- Perform scheduled hookups for Saturday customer pickups
- Assist service technicians in the shop
- Move units in and out of the shop
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Core Competencies and Qualifications
- Experience as a technician in a similar capacity is an asset; training will be provided
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to multitask and work collaboratively with all departments
- Ability to explain issues clearly and simply
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to follow health and safety regulations
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Accountability and dependability
