Brandon Police in this morningâs media release are reporting of a serious incident that is said to have taken place last night in Brandon.
Just before 8pm Police and Brandon Fire and Emergency Services responded to a call that indicated a male had an arm injury and may have been stabbed. On responding it was ascertained that the victim had a gunshot wound on his arm. According to the victim he had been walking on 10th street when a driving vehicle stopped, the driver got out and shot at him. He would be taken to hospital with what turned out to be a shattered humerus bone.
The driver in the allegation, said to be known to the victim, was later located and charged with attempted murder, attempt to endanger life and several firearm related charges. They are to appear in court today. Police continue to investigate.
