Itâs become a seasonal tradition for many to have their kiddosâ picture taken in the spring at Brandon Photographicsâ âPeter Cottontailâ bunny shoot. Starting more than two decades ago the local photo shop has every spring arranged for temporary in-house pets to be part of the perfect seasonal scene.
This past weekend the crew at Brandon Photo shared the perfect example of how wide of a slice of time theyâve been taking the portrait when twins Courtney and Calla Matienzo returned to the 18th street studio 19 years after their portrait was taken in the year 2000 at just 3 years of age:
The two had the pic taken as a fun gift for mom, who I gather had her work cut out for her 19 years ago to have her excited girls be just the right amount of still for the first picture you see to turn out as well as it did!
Brandon Photographics first started Peter Cottontail sessions more than 20 years ago, photographing 60-100 kids per year .... and even a few adults too :) They regularly share select pictures from those sessions on their Facebook page, with this week being the last for this year.
