The footprint of the Corral Centre has been slowly changing over the past five months. Rising from the asphalt at the Southwest corner of the Walmart parking lot is a new building that will include Brandon’s first full-format DQ restaurant.
eBrandon just happens to have its weather cam perched on top of the hill at Grand Valley Church, which has put us in a great spot to keep an eye on the development. Below is a timelapse of sort that shows progress from mid-July when shovel first hit ground- each day represented by half of a second with the odd day removed here or there if the pic wasn't up to snuff. The end result is a unique look at the building coming together over an approx five month period from July through yesterday:
Franchisee Laird Lidster tells us that the expected ETA for the restaurant is Spring 2019.
After years of pulling off of the highway into (your favourite town here) for a quick and unique-to-a-Brandonite lunch we can hardly wait to get a Triple with Cheese in our mouths from within the confines of the Wheat City!
