Brandon Police issued a special media release this afternoon to advise of a traffic stop last night that they say resulted in the seizure of a significant amount of drugs.
In the stop, according to Police two bags were discovered to contain illicit drugs. The first having tested positive for a quantity of crystal meth with a maximum street value said to be $100,000. The second bag contained what is believed to be a mix of heroin and fentanyl with a maximum street value of $150,000.
As a result a 37-year old Alberta man was lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre and was to appear in court today.
