A cow, a beaver and of course turkeys.... if April had ended yesterday it would have already gone down in history as a 'wild' month in Brandon. According to a report from Brandon Police today, nature saved arguably her best for last today when a bear was reported to be roaming in the North Hill area of the city.
According to a note shared by Police today, a report was received at about 10am of a bear roaming in the area of 1st Street North. The 2-year old male would be trapped and later safely released in more suitable habitat in Riding Mountain National Park.
