Via this morning’s Brandon Police release, details were shared of an arrest made earlier this week in what’s alleged to be a case of personating a Police officer.

According to the account shared by Police, on Monday afternoon a 33-year old male claiming to be an undercover Police officer approached a female regarding an apartment available for rent and convinced her to go inside to look at the apartment. Once inside its alleged that the male demanded sex, threatening charges of prostitution.

A 33-year old male is to as a result appear in court on charges of Sexual Assault as well as Personating a Police Officer.

As part of the release, Police advised that all undercover of plain clothes officers carry badges and ID cards that will be presented as identification.
