For me these next couple days have always been about slowing down, making last minute preps for our family’s Christmas Eve and Christmas Day traditions and enjoying the sites, sounds, tastes and togetherness of the season. Historically it’s probably been that way for you too as we get into the night of Christmas Eve and of course the big day itself.... to the point where if I put an eBrandon traffic graph on a tiny smartphone screen on the other side of the room you could pick out the 25th without any problem against the other 364 days on the calendar.
It’s looking like tonight will be one of the colder of the year so far with windchills getting close to -30 overnight and the forecast noting the risk of frostbite. Santa will have seen worse on his drops into Westman over the years and I’m sure is ably prepared for whatever the great outdoors throw his way. According to Google’s Santa Tracker, most recent info has the big fella expected in our area some time in the window of 12:45-1:15am.
