The Brandon Flight Centre will on Saturday, July 27 be putting on one of Brandonâs more unique events for families with itâs annual fly-in breakfast.
Between 8am and 11am, for $8 the club will be offering breakfast that will include pancakes, ham, eggs and toast as well as juice, coffee and tea.
What goes with breakfast is the fun part for attendees who will have the opportunity for the thrill of going up in the air on a scenic route over Brandon for a no-extra charge plane ride. The rides are free with breakfast thanks to pilots of the club donating their time and aircraft. All ages are welcome.
Also on-site will be a kids zone and displays from the Commonwealth Air Training Plan Museum, Stars Air Ambulance, Spray Aircraft and morning.
The event will be made up of a unique assortment of folks that have flown in to take part along with those who have used more traditional ground transportation. For the majority who are driving, the Brandon Flight Centre building is just across from the main airport terminal, with signage being setup tomorrow to help folks find their way!
If you happen to not make it on Saturday, the Centre charges $122 plus tax for their sightseeing flights. Having gone up a handful of times I can speak to what a great experience it is to see the city from a few thousand feet up!
