Brandon will be taking its turn in the Super Run spotlight this weekend as an expected 600+ vehicles from the prairies and beyond descend on the city for Western Canada’s premier car show.
In the lead-up to the event, with so many vehicles and enthusiasts in town Brandon Area Car Enthusiasts will be hosting a special super-sized Cruise Night on Thursday from 6-9pm. Attendance at Cruise Night is free as always. Food vendors will be on site for what promises to be a packed downtown core. For those wishing to show their vehicles on Thursday, all are welcome and are asked to enter at either 13th and Rosser or 6th and Princess.
The following day will be the official kickoff to the main Super Run event itself with Friday evening’s meet and greet followed by the main show on Saturday and Sunday at the Keystone Centre. This weekend will feature vintage and new age vehicles, muscle cars, classics as well as vintage campers, sleds and snowmobiles. Events over the course of the weekend will include a Swap Meet, Model T assembly, a Car Limbo contest, Valve Cover races and much more. A Kids Zone will be on-site as well as an assortment of food trucks.
