As of today, a long-time local technology sales and support business has a new home.
Juggernaut Computers has been purchased by Myphone, another local company thatâs no stranger to technology in Westman with a specialization in wireless. With the acquisition, Juggernautâs operations including five staff are starting today based out of 1417 Rosser Ave Unit C, in the same building that houses Myphoneâs head office.
Those Information Technology operations will be married under one roof with Myphoneâs existing expertise in wireless as the two fields continue to have more and more crossover going forward. In addition to allowing for efficiencies in support of technology customers of both businesses, Iâve been told that the two working together has them better positioned in the growing space of âInternet of Thingsâ as more and more everyday devices and objects are brought online and often rely on wireless for their online connection.
Juggernaut Computers had been based until today out of 135 Industrial Drive in Brandon. In its nearly 20 years in Brandon it has previously been stationed on 18th street and in the cityâs downtown.
Myphone operates Telus-affiliated stores at Shoppers Mall, Corral Centre and Virden.
