Brandon Police in this morning’s media release are reporting of what they allege was an Attempted Murder said to have taken place in the city’s East End last night.
Police say they were called to an apartment complex in the 200 block of 16th street East at approximately 9:35pm. When arriving a 43-year old victim was discovered with multiple stab wounds to the upper body.
In clearing the building Police located a suspect who they say was still armed with a knife. A taser was used to gain control of the 54-year old male suspect, who was then arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre. It's believed by Police that the suspect was living together in a domestic relationship with the victim.
At last report the victim was in stable condition after having been transported to hospital.
