Brandon University announced this morning in a media release that the University and Brandon University Faculty Association have arrived at a new four year collective agreement
The ratified agreement, which was approved by BU’s Board of Governors on the weekend runs to March 31, 2023. According to the press release the agreement comes with annual general salary increases of 0%, 0%, 0.75%, and 1%.
The previous collective agreement had been in effect for a four year period beginning April 1, 2015 and reached its end this past spring. The agreement prior to that came about after a high profile 45-day strike in the fall of 2011.
BU announced during the summer that it was on pace for its seventh straight year of enrolment growth this year.
