Brandon Police this morning are on the lookout for what they say is a stolen car after a dangerous pursuit within city limits had to be ended last night due to safety concerns.
According to todayâs media release, a report was received by Police of a stolen vehicle at about 8:30pm on Monday evening. At 9:15pm the vehicle, which Police say was reported stolen from the 400 block of 10th street, was said to have been located in the area of 26th Street and Victoria Avenue traveling North on 26th street. After a pursuit of whatâs said to be about five minutes it was called off with the vehicle last seen Southbound on 18th street in the area of College Avenue.
Police describe the vehicle in question as being a grey 4-door 2008 Hyundai Sonata with Manitoba license plate HHV 838. They describe the suspect as believed to be male possibly in his 40s wearing a light coloured baseball cap.
