Brandonites now have a new option for purchasing meat products with the news this afternoon that Assiniboine Community College has opened a meat retail space at its Victoria Avenue East campus in conjunction with its new $1.6 million Food Processing Centre.
Available for sale are various cuts of pork and beef, sausages and ribs produced by ACC students and faculty as part of its food processing program. Payments may be made by debit or credit card with proceeds going to the Food Processing program.
The shop is located in room 261 of ACCâs Victoria Ave East campus with hours of Monday and Tuesday from noon-4pm, Wednesday and Thursday from noon-5pm and Friday from 11-4pm.
In conjunction with opening, a âname the spaceâ contest is being held with a $150 gift certificate being up for grabs. For more details please check out http://assiniboine.net/contest
