With the final days of December generally looked at as a time of reflection on the past and turning the page to the future, a local business is doing just that with the announcement today of T-Birds Food Fun Games transitioning to new management.
After 35 years as a family operated entity, Trevor Peters and Debbie Nadon have shared that Laura Tycoles has joined the facility in the role of General Manager after having previously worked in the hospitality industry.
The change comes about as part of what Peters describes as a natural succession plan for the business with Peters and Nadon having served as General Managers for the past 25+ years. Thunderbird Bowl’s previous downtown location was first purchased by the Peters family in 1984, with Peters and Nadon purchasing in 1994. A move was undertaken to the current facility in 2001. In bringing Tycoles into the fold, Peters and Nadon will remain owners of the Bowling Entertainment Centre however in the words of Peters they will work for Tycoles on day-to-day tasks within the business.

T-Birds' updated arcade
The business has seen significant change in 2019, re-branding to T-Birds Food Fun Games and undergoing two phases of renovations that have included the addition of an arcade and renovating of the bowling alley. A third phase will continue to be carried out under the guidance of new management, seeing upgrades to lighting, audio and equipment that makes bowling lanes tick. A fourth phase will see a new to-be-announced entertainment attraction added to the room in the facility that currently houses a children’s play structure.
