Popular local shop Kuipers Family Bakery has announced that as of this month it is under new ownership.
According to a notice shared by the bakery, long time owner of 26 years Harold Kuipers has sold the establishment to Curtis Fedorowich. By the sound of things the transition should be quite seamless as Fedorowich has already been with Kuipers for ten years in the role of lead baker. Fedorowich has experience baking at many places internationally and it will be fun to see what ideas he might contribute as owner, though it sounds like nothing too drastic is planned to the formula that’s made the business the success it is today.
Harold Kuipers, and by all accounts his famous buns, are expected to remain involved in a more limited capacity by helping with baking in mornings.
