One might suggest with the smorgasbord of new eating options in the city in recent years that something had to give. It looks like Brandon’s South Quiznos restaurant is one such something.
A sign on the door indicates that the fast food restaurant has closed that particular location, in stead re-directing customers to their Middleton Ave location. Having since been in touch with local management I’ve been told that the closure is permanent as of last Friday with no immediate plans to open a separate second eatery.
Quiznos entered the Brandon market with a bang in 2005 with the opening of two restaurants under separate franchisees, one first in April of that year on 18th Street South in the Keystone Village Mall and another a few months later on Middleton Ave off the Trans Canada Highway.
For those still looking for their toasted sub fix it’s full steam ahead at the Trans Canada location with standard 10am - 10pm hours, 7 days a week.
