Brandon Perio Clinic is a specialized periodontal practice in Brandon, Manitoba, focused on gum health, surgical care, and dental implants. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional patient care in a professional, welcoming, and team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

Reception duties:

1. Greet and check in patients in a warm and professional manner
2. Manage phone calls, emails, and appointment scheduling
3. Coordinate treatment schedules, including surgical appointments
4. Process insurance claims, pre-authorizations, and billing
5. Handle patient records and maintain confidentiality
6. Manage recalls and follow-up communications
7. Support the clinical team with administrative coordination
8. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area

Chairside Assisting Duties:

1. Prepare treatment rooms and surgical setups for periodontal and implant procedures
2. Assist chairside during surgeries (e.g., scaling and root planing, extractions, implants, grafting)
3. Maintain strict infection prevention and control (IPAC) protocols
4. Sterilize instruments and manage surgical workflow efficiently
5. Ensure patient comfort and provide reassurance before, during, and after procedures
6. Deliver clear post-operative instructions to patients
7. Maintain accurate records and support overall clinic operations

Qualifications

1. Previous experience in a dental or medical office (preferred)
2. Strong knowledge of dental insurance and billing procedures
3. Excellent communication and customer service skills
4. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
5. Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
