King Spud Potato Transport Ltd is currently looking to hire Weekend only Class one drivers to join out team!
King Spud is the all-inclusive bulk potato hauler for McCain foods factories in both Portage La Prairie and Carberry Manitoba. King Spud is located in Carberry Mb.
Applicants must:
- Have a valid class one license and minimum one year class one driving experience
- An abstract with minimal infractions
- Have experience pulling and backing tridem trailers
- Be able to preform adequate pre and post trips as well as complete all necessary paperwork required.
- Be able to read, write, understand and speak fluent English.
- Be flexible and able to work varying hours as schedule requires
- Have a positive and professional attitude and be able to work well with others.
- Be reliable and able to make all shifts on time
- Be able to work long hours at peak harvest season
- Be able to operate e-log for long distance trips
- Have experience driving in the winter with a tractor trailer unit
King Spud is looking to hire drivers for :
- Friday, Saturday and Sundays.
- Saturday and Sunday
- Either Saturday or Sunday
Who should apply :
- Drivers who have a full time job but want extra money working hours primary job cannot offer.
- Anyone retired and wanting extra work.
- Drivers who have a parenting schedule that only allows weekends free to work.
- People who simply would rather work weekends and have week days off.
All drivers are paid hourly
Canada life benefits available after probation period ( if you work over 40 hours a week)
Competitive wages based on experience and abilities.
We offer the ability to work up to 70 hours a week
