Attention early birds! Eastside Eatery is looking to fill a full-time opening line cook position.
Your Role:
The opener is crucial to the daily operations of our kitchen. Set up and organization of the line/kitchen stations will play a large part of your daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
-Firing up grills, fryers, ovens, etc.
-Preparation of breakfast ingredients in a timely fashion.
-MUST have strong knowledge of making a variety of soups (cream/broth).
-Knowledge about accepting/sorting foodservice orders.
-Preparation of all food orders in a timely and accurate fashion.
-Knowledge in operations of flattops, fryers, etc.
-Execution of prep lists/ensuring enough prep is ready for peak times.
-Following all health/sanitary procedues.
Requirements:
-Must be available a variety of day/weekend shifts.
-A reliable commute to work is an asset.
-Must be reliable and dependable.
